Circular Economy Principles

  • Efficient sequencing of processors supports the circular economy by ensuring that materials are recovered in reusable forms, minimizing waste and preserving resources.
  • For example, separating plastics first ensures they can be reused or repurposed effectively in subsequent processes

How to sequence processors?

For complex materials, you need multiple processors.

To separate plastics, concrete and iron, you need to select among the Magnet, Dissolver and Melter.

Before you chain them, let’s check three heuristic rules!

Rule 1 Do easy separations first and then difficult separations

Rule 2 Avoid damaging the chemical composition of the materials
